This publication consists of the dataset used to create a new critical edition of The Venerable Bede's De locis sanctis, in a digital format, with details about the manuscripts used for transcription, an index of every place-name cited in the text, and a bibliography. It is the result of a project funded by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (post-doctoral fellowship), led at the Department of Greek and Latin Philology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich.
