This dataset contains the portable energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence analyses (p-ED-XRF), the archaeological data, figures, and R scripts associated with the publication La Hoguette – Culture, Phenomenon, Subculture? (Philippika 183, M. Schauer 2025). The collection documents all stages of the archaeometric and statistical evaluation of La Hoguette and Linearband pottery, and reference materials from the Early Neolithic period. The p-ED-XRF studies focus on the sites of Friedberg-Bruchenbrücken (Wetterau), Rottenburg “Fröbelweg,” and Rottenburg-Hailfingen “Unter dem Tübinger Weg” (Oberes Gäu). Chemical analyses were carried out using a p-ED-XRF instrument (Niton XL3t, TestAllGeo mode) to characterize raw materials, manufacturing recipes, and provenances. In addition to the presentation and processing of p-ED-XRF data, the repository contains the archaeological datasets, statistical calculations, as well as all figures and data quality evaluations presented in the publication. Data preparation and analysis were performed entirely in R using Quarto scripts; all file paths are defined relatively within the project. The dataset promotes transparency, reproducibility, and reusability of the research results and is licensed under CC BY 4.0. Data to: Schauer, M. (2025): La Hoguette – Kultur, Phänomen, Subkultur?
