Digital network analysis This dataset was developed within the framework of the D-A-CH project "Issues with Europe. A Network-Analysis of the German-speaking Alpine Conservation Movement". The project of the University of Innsbruck, University of Basel and the Rachel Carson Center of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität was funded by FWF (Leading House; No. I 3697-G28), SNF (No. 100019E_176479) and DFG (No. 392198021). The project set out to explore the complex negotiation processes in European politics by analyzing European transport policy. It examines the disputes over European Alpine transit policy between the 1970s and 2000s, with a comparative focus on Austria and Switzerland. The aim is to investigate networks connections and institutional linkages. To this end, formalized Historical Network Analysis (HNA) was used to supplement the qualitative historical analysis. With the node and edge lists published here, the calculations and conclusions of the project can be reproduced. The research data are also available for further use in other research projects. Please consult the readme file for further information. Due to data protection regulations, the data set was anonymized. To access the entire dataset for scientific research, contact University of Basel (sekretariat-geschichte@unibas.ch) or University of Innsbruck (geschichtswissenschaften@uibk.ac.at), specifying the purpose of use.
