The data set was created as part of the DFG research project "The Topos Night in Modern and Postmodern Music" and contains works by composers from modern times to the present that are related to the "night" theme. The information on the composers is supplemented by lifetimes. The information on the work is supplemented by information on the cast, lyricist and poetry (if available), genre and time (period) of creation or, if applicable, time (period) of revision.
