The way concepts are entered into the table KONZEPTE in the database will be outlined using the English version. If a lexical term for a concept exists, it will be entered into the field 'Name_E'. If there is no lexicalization, this field remains empty.  Nevertheless, the concept will be defined more specifically under 'Beschreibung_E'. This follows a set procedure that will be demonstrated using the concept 'MILK CAN' (<span class="vaabr" data-vaabr="ID">ID</span>_Konzept 610) as an example: The afore-mentioned concept is described with a specific lexeme. Thus, 'MILK CAN' is registered under 'Name_E'. The description ought to be arranged in the following order: tool, purpose, material, shape (poss.). Consequently, this leads to the description 'VESSEL, FOR STORING MILK, MADE FROM METAL', when applied to our concept. If possible and/or necessary, these further rules should be considered: numbers from 1–10 must be spelled out, when describing a process, an action etc., either 'for+gerund (nominalised verb)' or 'for+noun' should be used. Maintaining these patterns allows for similar translations, the formation of categories independent of language that have different levels of abstraction (-&gt; VESSELS -&gt; VESSELS FOR STORAGE -&gt; VESSELS FROM METAL etc.), automated corrections and/or changes and a transparent search.
