It has been intended from the beginning to set up a digital research lab that invites every interested user to use the geo-linguistic tools developed by VerbaAlpina (different cartographical visualisations, levels of typing etc.) individually and present new or potentially alternative analyses and results or help further develop the tools.
After the second funding phase, it can be noted that there has been no demand for this option yet. However, this is not caused by a lack of interest. Rather, the opposite is the case: The methodology and technology developed by VerbaAlpina have proven to be so attractive for partner projects that their conception was a direct part of cooperations. VerbaAlpina was also chosen as a model project for the development of metadata models and relevant procedures/workflows, like in:
