ReadMe The project data published here is associated with the publication ÒNatureÕs contributions to human wellbeing under climate change: Evidence from Central and Eastern MadagascarÓ, published in the journal People and Nature. Background: The project investigates the effects of climate change on ecosystems and the consequences of ecosystem degradation for human wellbeing across four case studies in Central and Eastern Madagascar. We used participatory community workshops and semi-structured interviews as empirical research methods. Therefore, the data for this project is in the form of workshop and interview transcriptions. All data has been anonymized. The data uploaded in the Open Data LMU contains the following archive files: -Òinterview_transcripts.zipÓ: contains a spreadsheet with interview metadata and individual documents for each transcribed interview. -Òworkshop_transcripts.zipÓ: contains four separate documents with transcriptions of the respective workshops in Ambohimalaza, Andasibe, Andovoranto, and Mantasoa. The project was funded by the Zukunftskolleg of University of Konstanz. Contact person: Dr. Jan Petzold (jan.petzold@lmu.de)
